Graphics/Web

I’ve been interested in graphics, web, and design since my first high school class in 11th grade. I took a couple graphics classes my junior and senior years and entered into a few technology competitions. I decided upon graduating high school that I wanted to pursue the a degree in graphics. Coincidentally, I ended up in the School of Media Arts and Design at James Madison University doing a concentration in Interactive Multimedia. I graduated with a bachelor of arts in Interactive Multimedia with a double major in the German language in May 2006.

While a student at JMU, I worked for the Office of Admissions as a web designer and then later found myself working for George Mason University in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences as a web designer.

I am looking to do more design work and get back into the creative side of things and work more on front-end design rather than back-end development. I would like to do more with multimedia, video, photography, and graphic design/layout in the future.
